How cute is this?!?!  I found this via Creature Comforts.  One Charming Party has come up with the CUTEST Valentine's Day craft.  I will definitely make some for my dear friends and see if I can make some manly ones for my boys.  Do you think that's possible? And isn't the card simply adorable?  I need to make a trip to Party City today.

Farmers' Market

I really enjoy going to the farmers' market.  I enjoy the live music, the fresh bread and pastries, finding produce and especially farm fresh eggs.  A couple of months ago my husband's coworker gave us a dozen eggs and I loved them.  They were beautiful shades of blue and green.  I have a picture but I'm having issues getting it posted here.  So just imagine a pretty bowl of blue and green eggs...See they're so pretty. ;)  There is such a difference in taste and the different shades they come in are beautiful. 

Today I went for my usual Saturday morning trip, rain and all.  I was glad to find it was open.  I took Coen with me.  We made it a quick trip because I did not have an umbrella with me.  I treated Coen to some beignets.  The lady that helped us was very kind and put a generous sprinkle of powdered sugar.  Yum...






 

I have no experience with retouching photos so these are in the raw.  I'll just post raw pictures until I get a program and learn how to use it.

Happy New Year!!!

I wish you all the best, happiest and most wonderful 2011!!! 

I have a few New Year's Resolutions.  One of them is to start a blog and here I am on this wonderful first day of 2011, sitting in front of the computer trying to make sense of all in blog land.  I'm a greenie so be patient with me.  My resolutions are as follows...


• Spend more quality time with my kids, like going to the park or going for a hike.
• Start a blog.
• Take a photography class.
• Buy things for myself or my home only if I love it.
• To be better about my diet and to continue with my exercise: running, cycle, boot  camp and yoga.
• I want to find my creative self.  I feel like I'm a bit creative but I have not found my best creative outlet.  I want to find it.  Does anyone feel the same way?  Tell me about it.
• I would love to travel more.  This is hard you know, the fundage factor is a biggie and
   finding a sitter is also.  This brings me to my next one.
• I want to be better about saving money. 


I should probably have more but this is all I have for now.  What are your resolutions?
